Frosty Table

I like snow.  We don't get it very often, so I try to make things look like winter in our home during the winter months.  I like to use items on my table that makes me think of chilly days, snowflakes and snowmen.
Here's the table in our kitchen.
I like to think that the little bowl is holding the perfect snowball
and the napkin ring is the most perfect of snowflakes.

No winter table at my house is complete until a snowman is present.
This guy is a cute one. He has shiny mica glitter on him for a vintage-style look.

This bowl holds vintage mercury glass ornaments.

I like my blue glasses with this place setting.
I've had the glasses for about twenty-five years.

Welcome winter.

Do you welcome winter at your home?  I'd love to know!

Marsha, we do have winter outside (Michigan) but I still use snowmen in my inside decor. Your frosty table is charming!

Oh, aren't you glad you've held onto those blue glasses? Colored glassware is all the rage again. It looks perfect with your wintry table. Blue and white are always favorites!

We sure do welcome winter. When the Christmas decor comes down, the snowmen, snowflakes, sleds, skates and mitten decor comes out! It is fun, and everything doesn't look so bare. Your table is so sweet, and I LOVE your blue stemware! GORGEOUS!

Hi, Marsha! I will GLADLY send you any snow we get here. GLADLY!!! We have dodged the bullet for the most part this year...so far. I know we need the moisture for the plants and trees and such, but ugh....the driving is so treacherous!!! It is pretty to look at, though, from the warmth and safety of our home! :-) Very pretty table! It DOES remind me of the iciness of the season! Have a good weekend!!!
