Here is my Halloween mantel that I really enjoy. I got these two black cats from a lady in California several years ago. She was an artist that had some of her work on line (long before Etsy) and I was able to get these two originals that I'm glad to show you today.
Here is the girl cat. I don't really have a name for her.
I guess I could give her one, though.
She holds a pumpkin with a sour face in her arms.
Under her skirt are the cutest little black legs and paws.
She has a sweet face with sharp teeth and green eyes.
Now, this guy on the other hand, does have a name.
His name is "Bad Cat."
He does look kinda naughty.
I love to use these candle sticks that were manufactured by Bethany Lowe.
She is a self-taught folk artist and she also has a group
of artists that create for her that are so talented.
I like to use my skeleton candles in the candle holders.
They came from Target several years ago.
Another black cat...a small treat bucket from Bethany Lowe.
I hope you enjoyed the mantel in our family room.

Marsha, Any season you will find a lot of decorating going on in blogland. I never decorated as much for the different seasons as I do now. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Halloween decor at my party. Love the cats and the skeleton candles are great.

Thank you for stopping by my mantle Marsha! Love the kitties and those candlesticks are wonderful!! That witchy face down on the hearth is great too! :)
Oh Marsha, You know I love this girl! Those cats are so spookingly wonderful! Bad cat does look very naughty. Like he's got something up his sleeve. It all is wonderful! Lucky you for finding such treasures. I also love all of the vintage looking fabrics that the cats are dressed in. Thanks for sharing.
Great mantel. It would be great to have you link to Seasonal Sundays.

Those black cats are gorgeous. I love Halloween decor and have a lot of prim stuff and vintage stuff. Although very little of it is out right now, so I better get to it!
I'm glad you chose to be a part of Seasonal Sundays this past week and hope you'll join me again this week.
